They are the **English and German editions of the same platform**, operated by done.by GmbH. Content, accounts, and companies are shared — a reference published in both languages appears on both. Your interface language is a personal setting, independent of the edition you visit. Yes. Personal accounts (searching, watchlists, messaging) are free, and companies start on a **free plan** with basic contingents. Paid plans follow a pay-per-use model — see [Plan, Billing & Vouchers](/company/plan-and-billing). **Read-only users never cost anything**, on any plan. Yes — search, industry pages, company profiles, and reference pages are public. Visitors without an account can open a **limited number of reference detail pages** before being asked to register; sending inquiries and using watchlists also require an account. Ask a company admin to add you under **Users & Permissions** — you'll receive your login by e-mail. Don't register a new company account; that would create a duplicate company profile.
