• New address for the English edition: the English platform moved from done.by to referencedeck.com, including all industry pages, company profiles and references (<industry>.referencedeck.com). The German edition stays on referenzen.com
• Old links keep working: every done.by link and bookmark redirects permanently to the same page on referencedeck.com, so shared links, search results and links on your own website still lead to the right place

• Deleting is no longer final: deleting a reference (card menu, bulk action or status tab) now moves it to the trash. It disappears from the manager and from every public surface (search, industry pages, company profile, API, digital signage, AI gateway), but keeps all its texts, media, clients, statuses and channels
• Restore with one click: the new Trash (n) button next to New reference lists the deleted references with who deleted them and when. Restore brings a reference back exactly as it was, including its public visibility
• Delete permanently, deliberately: Delete permanently (single or bulk) and Empty trash remove references for good after a confirmation. A live reference can no longer be destroyed directly; it always passes through the trash
• References in the trash still count toward your plan's reference contingent until they are deleted permanently, so a restore always works
• The classic interface gets the same behavior with a Trash tab in the reference manager

• Save a search under a label: Save search on the search page stores the search term with all filters, sorting and view, so a complicated combination is one click away next time instead of living in a browser bookmark
• Share it like a watchlist: keep a saved search private, make it company-wide, or share it with a group of invited colleagues, who accept or decline the invitation. External e-mail addresses receive the link by mail
• New overview page Saved searches (sidebar → Search / Industries): run, edit, copy the share link or delete; filter and sort by name, last run or creation date
• Refine and update: a running saved search shows a banner; Update filters stores your adjustments under the same label. Share links always open the current filter combination, so nobody needs a new link

• Configure your company yourself: the new Company settings → Settings page lets company admins (Edit company settings) change options that previously required a request to the platform team

• A personal invitation for new members: after adding a team member, a pre-filled invitation message opens with the set-password link already included. Adapt the text and send it, or send it later via the new Send invitation action on the member's card
• No more duplicate companies: registration now checks the company name. If a company with the same name already exists in the same country, the form offers Join as employee instead of creating a second company
• Join requests: people who register as employees (or ask from their dashboard with an existing personal account) appear in a new Join requests section on the team page once they have confirmed their e-mail address. Admins approve (default read permissions, seat permitting) or reject with an optional note; both sides are notified by e-mail
• The dashboard shows admins the number of pending requests, and applicants the status of their own request with the option to withdraw it

• Workflow notifications from real people: notifications about reference and company profile status changes are now sent in the name of the colleague who made the change instead of an anonymous system account. Reply in the conversation (the e-mail has a Reply to this message button) and the answer reaches them
• One thread per reference: further notifications about the same reference between the same two people continue the existing conversation. Routine hand-overs don't clutter the sender's Sent folder until someone replies
• Trash folder actions: Restore conversation, Delete conversation permanently (also for several selected conversations) and Empty trash
• Fix: the Trash folder could stay empty although conversations had been deleted. It now lists every conversation you moved there

• Internal or public, in plain words: the Publicly visible reference checkbox on the status tab is now a Publication status choice: Internal (visible only to members of your company) or Public (also visible externally, on the website and the selected channels)

• Rejections reach the right person only: a content rejection now goes back to whoever proposed the content for approval (otherwise the responsible contact, then the creator), a publication rejection to whoever proposed the publication (otherwise the group's reviewers). Previously a rejection could be e-mailed to every user with edit rights. If nobody qualifies, no message is sent
• Classic interface — status changes no longer silently reverted: after a change made with the stepper, saving the status tab could write the old status back under a "saved successfully" message. Saving now keeps changes made meanwhile by the stepper, the kanban board or a colleague
• Classic interface — honest save feedback: the reference form only reports success when the save actually worked; otherwise an error stays on screen and your entries remain in the form (e.g. after an expired session). Leaving a form with unsaved changes asks first, rich-text edits count as changes, and the stepper warns before a transition discards unsaved edits on the status tab

• The interface is now also available in Português (European Portuguese), bringing the number of interface languages to eleven. Pick it from the language menu in the header

• Drag to pan the kanban board: grab the board background with the mouse and drag sideways, so there's no need to find the scrollbar at the bottom of a long board. On large screens the columns now fill the full width
• Fix: saving a new client together with a main contact person failed with an error and could leave an invisible client behind. Client and contact are now saved together reliably
• Fix: newly entered contact persons from a client-confirmation invitation no longer vanish from the contact person dropdowns
• Fix: saving a client, partner or company with an empty industry field no longer creates an empty industry suggestion; suggestions from the registration form now carry the industry the user actually typed

• Set up Microsoft single sign-on yourself: company admins connect their Microsoft Entra ID app registration under Company settings → Single Sign-On — tenant ID, application ID and client secret, with the redirect URI and the team's sign-in link ready to copy. Included in the Enterprise plans; companies already using SSO keep it
• Test before you go live: Test sign-in runs the Microsoft sign-in with the entered credentials without signing anybody in and shows what a real sign-in would do. Activation — and changing the credentials of an active configuration — requires a successful test, so a typo can't lock out the team
• Automatic accounts with default roles: new colleagues get an account on their first Microsoft sign-in with the roles you choose; when all plan seats are taken, they are created without roles and the admins are notified
• Secret expiry under control: the client secret is stored encrypted and never shown again (only its last four characters); a warning on the page and reminder e-mails 30 and 7 days before it expires
• Safer account matching: existing accounts that belong to several companies are no longer connected automatically by e-mail address, and every configuration change is logged and e-mailed to all company admins

• A guided lifecycle for every reference: the status tab now opens with a stepper that shows where a reference stands — from In progress over Suggested and the green safe spots Content approved and Public — whom it currently lies with, and exactly the next steps your role may take. Proposing opens the familiar notification block with the responsible reviewers suggested
• Optional two-stage approval: for organizations with a dedicated controlling and publishing chain, content approval and public release become separate decisions with two new stages — Proposed for publication and Public release rejected. A rejected publication falls back to Content approved, never to draft. Enabled per company on request; a self-service company settings manager is coming soon
• Rejections carry a mandatory comment, delivered with the notification and shown as a banner in the stepper — no more guessing why something came back. Declined has been renamed Content rejected to make its meaning explicit
• Status history: every status change is recorded — who, when, from which stage to which, with the comment — and shown as a timeline in the status tab. The log is append-only, so it doubles as an audit trail
• Kanban board: a new reference-manager view with one column per lifecycle stage. Drag a card to advance it — only legal moves for your role are offered, rejection drops ask for the comment — and filter the board by responsible person or by whom a card is currently with
• "Currently with" names real people: the stepper and the board resolve the responsible reviewers from the reference-group and location assignment; without a specific assignment they show the responsible role (e.g. Role: Controller) instead of listing everyone with the permission

• Assign reviewers per location: multi-site organizations can now define, per reference group and company location, which user reviews the references — so the controller from the right site is suggested, not a colleague three regions away. An optional feature we enable per company on request
• Maintain it from three places: the reference group form (location → reviewer), the location form (reference group → reviewer), and the team member dialog (a new Reviewer responsibilities section — ideal when onboarding a new controller). All three edit the same assignment, so a change made in one shows up in the others
• Smarter suggestions when submitting for approval: setting a language to Suggested now suggests the reviewers responsible for the reference's groups at its responsible company location; groups without a location-specific assignment fall back to the company-wide reviewers, and a single match is pre-selected
• Company-wide reviewer lists and publisher notifications are unchanged — nothing changes for single-site companies
• Fix: opening a reference group for editing in the classic interface failed when the group had no name in your interface language — the name now falls back to German or the first available language

• Find projects by the period they ran in: the Project Period filter is now a single date-range picker with quick-select presets — This year, Last year, Last 3 / 5 / 10 years — plus a free custom range with a two-month calendar. It replaces the bare from/until date inputs in the reference search and the four month/year dropdowns in the reference manager
• Fix — projects that span the period are found again: the filter now matches every project whose period overlaps your window. A project that started before the window and ran into it, or started inside it and continued past it, was previously missed — only projects lying entirely inside the window matched
• Fix — ongoing projects are no longer dropped: a project without an end date was silently excluded from every date-filtered search. It now matches whenever it had started by the end of your window. This also applies to the public since year filter and to year_from in the AI gateway's search_references
• Jump to older periods in two clicks: the calendar headers have month and year dropdowns, so a window like 2020–2021 no longer means paging month by month
• The chosen period appears as a removable chip in the selected-filters bar, next to the other active filters
• Completed since year is unchanged — it stays a separate filter about completion, counting only finished projects

• Duplicate with a choice of what to copy: Duplicate in the reference manager's card menu now opens a dialog listing everything the source reference actually has — clients, media, branch and company-internal fields, services & methods, partners, awards, used products, industry templates, and tags. Everything is pre-selected; clear what you do not need
• Always copied: basic data, all language texts, industries, reference groups, and channels. The copy is titled "… (Copy)" — numbered if that name already exists — and gets its own public URL label
• Never copied: client confirmations, the Featured flag, view and download statistics, comments, and watchlist entries — the copy starts clean
• The duplicate is created as an internal, unpublished reference with all languages set to work in progress, so nothing goes public by accident
• Same result everywhere: the classic interface and the new interface now run the identical copy routine, so a duplicate is built the same way whichever one you use

• Delete actions now show a trash-can icon throughout — the last places still using an ✕ (removing an industry or reference group in the reference form, removing an assigned product) have been brought in line
• The ✕ now means only close, cancel or clear — dismissing a dialog, clearing a filter — so a destructive action is never one glance away from a harmless one. Nothing about what the buttons do has changed

• Search finds parts of compound words: a term now also matches inside longer words — Landeplatz finds Hubschrauberlandeplatz, and so does Hubschrauber. Until now the two were separate words to the search, so the same project was found by one spelling but not the other. Whole-word matches still rank first, and deliberate syntax ("exact phrase", +must / -exclude, OR, *) keeps its precise meaning
• Wildcards are no longer needed: plain terms already find word parts, and a trailing * never returns fewer results than the term without it. This also applies to the API search endpoint
• Jump to the client from a reference: a new Show client button next to the client selection opens that client in the client manager in a new tab — for checking addresses and contact persons against your own records without losing what you have typed
• Consistent author names: the Author field on the Internal tab suggests your company team as you type, while remaining free text for external editors
• Cleaner input for numeric properties: industry-specific number fields (such as gross volume in m³ or gross floor area in m²) are entered as number fields with their unit and accept decimals where the field allows them
• Fix: removing a single-choice filter through its chip in the reference manager had no effect — the filter stayed active after the list reloaded

• Filter by location: connected AI tools can now narrow references by country, region and city — country and region accept an ISO code, a region code or the plain name in German or English
• Filter by contract value: new contract_value_from / contract_value_to range (EUR) for Auftragswert questions
