Discovery & CollaborationSaved Searches

Saved Searches

Save a search and its filter combination under a label, run it again at any time, and share it with colleagues or external contacts.

A search with five filters can take a minute to set up. Saved searches keep the whole combination (search term, filters, sorting and view) under a label of your choice, so it is one click away the next time. You can keep a saved search to yourself or share it with your company or with selected people.

Saved searches are available to everyone with an account.

Set up the search

Open Search, enter a term and/or pick filters until the result list shows what you need.

Click Save search

The Save search button appears in the page header as soon as a search term or filter is active.

Name it and choose who can see it

Enter a label (e.g. Building construction Berlin 2024) and optionally a description. The dialog shows the saved filter combination for a final check. Then choose the sharing type (see below) and save.

The page number is not saved: a saved search always starts on the first page of results.

Sharing

TypeWho sees the saved search
PrivateOnly you
Company-wideAll users of your company (available to company members)
GroupPeople you invite specifically

For a group search, pick platform users with the member search. They get an invitation and find it under Invitations to saved searches on the overview page, where they accept or decline it. You can also invite external e-mail addresses: they receive the link to the search by e-mail, together with an invitation to join the platform.

Who may change what:

  • Colleagues with access to a company-wide search, and confirmed group members, may refine its filters.
  • Only the creator may change the sharing or delete the search.

The overview page

Saved searches in the sidebar (/my/saved-searches, in the Search / Industries section below Recently Viewed) lists all saved searches you have access to: your own, company-wide ones, and group searches you accepted. Each card shows the sharing type, the owner (for searches created by someone else), the search term and filters, the number of group members, and when it was last run.

ActionWhat it does
RunOpens the search with the saved term and filters
EditRename, change the description or sharing (sharing: creator only)
Copy linkCopies a share link to the clipboard
DeleteRemoves the saved search (creator only)

Once you have more than a handful of saved searches, a filter field and sorting by name, last run or created date help you find the right one.

When you run a saved search, the search page shows a Saved search banner with its name. Adjust the filters as usual. If you are allowed to edit the search and the filters now differ from the saved ones, Update filters saves the new combination under the same label. The ✕ in the banner leaves the saved search and keeps the current results as an ordinary search.

Copy link produces a link ending in /suche/…, followed by a unique ID. Anyone who opens it lands on the search with the saved filters. Logged-in members open it in their workspace, visitors without an account on the public search.

A share link always opens the current filter combination. If you refine a saved search with Update filters, everyone who already has the link gets the updated result. There is no need to send it again.

The link reveals only the saved search itself (name, owner and filters). What the search returns is subject to the usual visibility rules: visitors without an account see public references only.
