Branch Settings & Custom Fields
Tailor the industry-specific reference forms to your company — hide unused fields, reorder sections, and add your own custom fields.
Every branch ships a standard structure of work fields, services, and project properties. Branch settings let your company tailor that structure — so your team's reference forms show exactly what's relevant to you.
Access: /my/company/settings/branches — requires the edit company settings permission; other members can open a read-only preview.
The branch list
The entry page lists every branch assigned to your company with its reference count. Pick a branch to open its editor.
The branch editor
The editor mirrors your reference form's structure. Changes save instantly per toggle — there is no separate save button. A toolbar offers filtering, expand/collapse all, and section jumps.
Work fields & services
Each work field block lists its services/methods (Leistungen), each with a visibility switch: switch off what your company never offers, and it disappears from your reference forms and filters. Entries that your team suggested inline show in approval / rejected badges, with provenance tooltips explaining where an entry came from.
Property sections & fields
Each section of project properties offers:
- A per-field visibility switch — hide fields you don't use
- Reordering by drag & drop or keyboard
- Per-option switches for select-type fields — trim option lists to your reality (including both lists of paired N:M:O fields)
Adding custom fields
The Add field wizard creates your own fields:
Choose the field type
Text line, text area, rich text, checkbox, dropdown, multi-select, date — or a paired selection (N:M:O) with two linked option lists.
Name it — in both languages
Field labels (and option lists, where applicable) are bilingual so your references work in both editions.
Decide the audience
Public project properties appear on reference pages and as search filters (platform-wide field definitions go through a short support approval). Company-internal fields are yours alone — visible and filterable only for your team.
The same wizard is reachable inline from the reference form's Internal tab (Add field) and property sections (Add property).

Branch settings shape your company's forms only. The branch's platform-wide standard structure is curated by the platform team — branch experts from the community help maintain it.
