Plan, Billing & Vouchers
Your subscription plan, usage contingents, invoices, upgrades, and voucher redemption.
Plan & Account Status (/my/company/contracts) is the billing home of your company account.
The pay-per-use model
Pricing follows a pay-per-use idea: you pay for what you actively use — most importantly the number of references and of writing users. Reading, searching, comparing, printing, and sharing are free for any number of read-only colleagues. The public pricing page (/pricing) offers a calculator: enter your numbers and see the monthly price; optional add-on packages can be included. Prices are shown in EUR, plus VAT; the offer is limited to business customers.
New companies start on the free plan with basic contingents and can upgrade anytime.
Your current plan
The plan card shows:
- Usage bars — references used vs. allowed, and users used vs. allowed. All references count, including unpublished drafts.
- Your plan's feature list with prices
- The billing block — invoice address (maintained in Master Data), monthly/yearly totals, VAT, and payment schedule
- A trial hint while you're in a trial period
A usage alert appears here (and on the dashboard and company hub) when you approach a contingent.
Upgrading
Upgrade starts the plan change; from the public pricing page, the calculator and comparison table lead to the same checkout. The confirmation step summarizes plan, price, and billing before you commit.
Upgrading may be restricted to specific members of your company — the button explains who can upgrade if you can't. Assign the permission in Team & Permissions.
Invoices
The invoices table lists all invoices with PDF download. Past plans and their invoices are kept in the expandable contract history. Remaining credits, where applicable, are noted with the invoices.
Vouchers
Redeem voucher opens a dialog for voucher codes — from campaigns or your account manager. A voucher can also be entered during registration. Redeemed vouchers are confirmed with a banner on this page.
Cancelling the account
The company hub (/my/company) offers Cancel account under account actions — it prepares a support request; the team confirms the cancellation with you.
Approaching the reference limit? Before upgrading, check the manager for abandoned drafts — deleted drafts free contingent immediately.
