Getting StartedQuickstart

Quickstart

Create a company account, set up your profile, and publish your first reference in about 30 minutes.

This guide takes you from an empty account to your first publicly visible reference.

You need a company account to manage references. If your company already has an account, ask a company admin to invite you as a team member instead of registering a new company.

Register your company

Open the registration page and switch to the Company tab. Enter your e-mail address and a password, then fill in:

  • Company name — a live preview shows the public URL your profile will get.
  • Industry — pick your main industry (branch) from the type-ahead list. Can't find it? Use Suggest a new industry right inside the form.
  • Country and optionally your website.

Accept the terms, solve the captcha, and submit with Create company profile.

Confirm your e-mail address

You receive an activation code by e-mail. Enter it on the confirmation page (or follow the link in the mail), then sign in. New accounts start on the free plan — you can upgrade later.

Complete your company master data

Go to My Company Profile → Company Profile Manager (/my/company/profile). Add your address, contact details, teaser text, and upload your logo. This information appears on your public profile and on every one of your references. See Master Data.

Create your first reference

Open My References → Reference Manager (/my/references) and click New reference. Fill in the Reference basic data tab:

  • Project title and subtitle
  • The industry (branch) the project belongs to
  • Project status and time frame
  • The client the project was delivered for (you can create the client on the fly)
  • Project location and a description

Save the basics — this unlocks the remaining tabs. See Creating & Editing References.

Add media and project details

On the Media & uploads tab, add gallery images and a stage image — references with strong images perform far better in search and on your profile. On the industry-specific properties tab, describe the project with the structured fields of your industry (these power the search filters). See Media & Uploads and Services & Project Properties.

Publish the reference

On the Status & publication tab, set the approval status for each language you maintain and enable Publicly visible reference. Choose the publication channels (at minimum the website channel).

If you don't have publishing permission yourself, set the status to Suggested — the colleagues with publishing rights are notified and can approve it. See Publishing References.

Check the result

Open your public company profile (View as a visitor on the company overview page) — your reference now appears on your profile and in the public search.
